Max and Me Miss Evie

Right after Michele set up Evie's firetruck bed, I jumped in to warm it up for her.

I was so happy when she crawled into bed.

But now that she's gone again, Max and Me are sad.

But Michele hasn't put the bed away yet, so Max and Me think Evie must be coming back soon! Max says he's gonna wait right here.

Zoo Two!

Evie took Marley to the zoo with her on Sunday, while David went to something called Brunch. Max and Me stayed home to catch up on our sleep.

Evie said the walruses were sleeping, and just came out to say hello, then went right back to bed. No worries, Evie played on the big slide.

Marley loved the slide too.

Then they fed some goats.

Max and Me think they'd rather be feeding us.

No trip to the zoo is complete without a ride on the carousel.

Yep, looks like another good day.

Walrus!

First things first, Evie said, and off to see the walruses they went. Max and Me stayed home to take care of David and Marley. (Confidential to Grandma Janet: don't worry, Annika came by to help us.)

It looks like the walruses missed Evie too.
And Evie just couldn't get enough of them.

Finally they went to see some other animals. Looks like Evie did get enough of the camera.

It was a chilly day, so they all got warmed up with some coffee.

Max and Me are pretty glad we didn't have to see this bear in person.

And finally, you guessed it - the carousel.

EVIE!!!!!!

Max and Me have a lot more pictures from Thanksgiving to show you, but right now we had to tell you that Evie is home for the weekend!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, Max and Me weren't happy, or thankful, about not getting a place at the table. We do have to admit, however, that David and Marley looked pretty cute and grown up.

And they were really happy after dinner.

Especially Marley, who loved the stuffing. Nothing says home-made like a box of Stove Top.

At the end of the evening though, Max scored big. Lucky guy.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

What's Wrong With This Picture?

Max and Me went to check out the Thanksgiving table, complete with special place settings for David and Marley. But...
That's right...no place for Max and Me. Hmpf!!!

It's Been A Rough Week

As some of you know, Max and Me didn't get to see Evie this weekend. Long story, but Michele and Kristin waited for hours at the meeting place before giving up and coming back home. They were real bummed. Max and Me tried to cheer them up. Max let Kristin read to him, just like Evie used to love.

Our friend Patty came over to see Evie, but had to settle for the boys. Max and Me think David wasn't too sure about her.

And Marley, well he thought getting outside to get some exercise would make us feel better, so he tried to take Max and Me for a walk.

Max and Me did feel a lot better after we got big bones. And even more better when we heard the news that there is another plan to see Evie - this Saturday. Keep your fingers crossed that it will happen!

They Don't Look Sick. Anymore.

So. Michele and Kristin have been home a lot this week. The flu. An ear infection. Bronchitis. You name it, one of these boys has it.

But really, they look fine, don't you think? They better heal fast, because Max and Me heard that Evie is coming to visit on Saturday!! Yea!!!!

Where Did The Weekend Go?

David spent most of the weekend cruising around with his walking toy. As Marley learned, it is best not to get in his way.

Michele and Kristin did take the boys to meet some friends at the Science Center. Max and Me love science, but we had to stay home to help Norm build the fence. Anyhow, we asked them to take lots of pictures. And this is what we got. Hey - don't ask us - but is that a drumstick in Kristin's hand?

When they all got home, Max and Me found out they went out to pizza too. No fair! Max found some Marley must have been saving for later.

What A Great Day!!

Max and Me don't have any pictures to prove it, but Kristin and Michele took us to the park today. Our very favorite park where we chase squirrels. We hadn't been since before our surgeries, and today was awesome! It was so great that when we got home, we let Kristin snuggle with us.

And then, after the boys got home, David tore around the house with the walker.

Max was sort of afraid.

Hey - the kid looked set on world domination. Max and Me just got out of the way.

Mmmmm Milk

Tonight, when everybody got home, Max and Me tried to get in on the bottles. But Kristin wouldn't even give us a taste.

Max even tried wearing Marley's shirt, but still no milk.

Boys Love Toys

Michele finally got around to switching cribs and stuff around, now that Evie doesn't live here anymore. When she was done, there seemed to be lots of toys the boys hadn't seen before.

Even Max and Me had to check it out. Okay, Max was mainly napping, but I was playing.

Later, the boys got to play in the new set up in Evie's, er, David's room.

They had a lot of fun.

Marley says he'll show you his room later.

Finally!!!

Okay, here are some Halloween photos. First, Marley, the really happy lion.

Then Marley and David the tiger got to go around and get candy at a bunch of stores. Lucky boys. But when they saw a firetruck, well, you know they had to have a picture. Just to make Evie jealous.

And they saw this kid - in the best costume ever.

Max and Me think everybody had a real happy Halloween.

But we still miss Evie.

Puffy Boys

This is Max at blog central. Blue is too bummed out today to blog - he's been crying in Evie's room all morning.

But I wanted to show you the boys all dressed up for their first day at their new school. They are excited to finally be going to the same school! Perhaps not as excited about it as Michele and Kristin, but happy nonetheless.

Blue says he also has lots of good pics from Halloween. He'll show you those as soon as he feels better.
