Company!

Max and Me got a visit from our old friend Jazmin tonight! Since she lives on the other coast, we don't get to see her often enough, but we really like her.

And not just because she brings us treats!

Jaz is Patty's granddaughter, so Patty was here too! (And so was Jaz's brother, Jack, but he and David were way too busy running around for any pictures.)

After we finished our treats, Ruby wanted some too. Luckily, it was time for her bottle.

Meanwhile, Theo apparently decided that he is such a walking big boy, he should go to bed in David's firetruck!

No fair! Max and Me been trying to sleep in there for years!

Theo The Walking Man

So. Theo has really taken off lately.

And he seems awfully happy about it.

But, um, that's our ball. In his mouth.

Max and Me aren't so sure about all this!

Merry, Merry

On Christmas Eve, we got to open our presents that were under the tree. David was very happy about this!

As was Theo.

And, well, Ruby too. Everybody loved it!

They got a giant piano and couldn't wait for Michele to put batteries in.

The next morning, Max and Me were relieved to see that all 3 kids had been good this year. At least according to Santa.

David got a giant flute in his stocking.

And the Robot he had asked Santa for.

He was a very happy boy.

Max and Me got great toys and treats in our stocking too.

Thank you, Santa!

David got a guitar under the tree, and Ruby had one in her stocking.

Rock out, little girl.

Ruby and Theo had to get dressed up for Christmas dinner. Max and Me don't know why, but they sure looked cute.

Theo didn't seemed to mind.

And Ruby, well, she is happy with anything!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

We're Late, But It Was Great!

Ruby & Theo are 1!!!

Who? Us? They say.

In the morning, they got to open presents. There were none for Max and Me.

Ruby seemed to be saying thank you to Grammy Janet, even though she didn't have it open yet!

Davey got a present from Grammy. Max and Me did not.

Theo got a new dog. Max and Me hope he takes to chasing it instead of us!

Later, they had a party. With cake.

Ruby was more excited about it than Theo.

In fact, Theo wasn't excited about the cake at all. He wanted some real food.

Since it was his birthday...he got what he wanted.

Ruby wanted to eat like a big kid, now that she wasn't a baby anymore.

And David had to help Theo. Max and Me would complain that we didn't get any cake, but that wouldn't be exactly true. Let's just say it was a very good day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUBY & THEO!!

David Does Downtown

When Michele and David got home last night, they had a special guest. They'd been to the airport to pick up Grammy Janet! Max and Me were super excited to play with her today, but instead, she and Kristin and Michele took David to downtown Seattle. First thing he saw was a guitar playing Nutcracker.

And then he saw Santa. Again.

Kristin realized she hadn't told Santa what she wanted, so in they went.

And after that, David and Grammy got to drive the monorail.

And at Seattle Center, David got to drive the toy train.

Outside, he climbed up a giant whale tail.

And since that didn't scare him, Michele thought they should go really high.

Yep, to the top of the Space Needle!

Max and Me think David had a real nice day.

More Santa

Today all the kids went to see Santa, so that David could tell the big guy what Ruby & Theo want for Christmas. Apparently, David said they want Thomas the Train stuff. Huh. Anyhow, Ruby checked him out.

She was a little unsure.

And just like that, she was done. Looks like Theo is giving Santa the what-for, for making his little sister cry.

Christmas Is Coming

Last night, Michele and Kristin took the kids to see the Festival of Trees. Turns out, Santa was there too. David was super excited to see him.

And tonight, he got to start on his Santa calendar.

He carefully moved Santa over and checked was inside the #1.

Two chocolates! What a lucky guy.
