Aunt Jackie!!!!

Aunt Jackie came last week to watch David for a few days, since his daycare was closed. Max and Me were so happy, and we all fought over her. I got to her first one morning and Max had to settle for some David love.

Okay, so I might have hogged her just a bit.

But Max got his share too.

On Saturday, we got a big treat - we all got to go to the dog park!!!

It was the best trip ever and Max and Me have lots of pictures to share with you soon.

Fancy Pillow

Kristin got a pregnancy pillow to help her sleep. David calls it a "fancy pillow." Max and Me offered to test it out.
It seemed real comfortable to me.

Max said he really liked it.

So we gave it two paws up.

Hmmm, wonder if Kristin wants to try it sometime?

Work, Work, Work

Sorry Max and Me haven't blogged lately, but Kristin and Michele have had us busy. It seems there is a lot to do around here. Like yardwork, which David got to help Michele with.

They say the work is mainly to get ready for the twins. David is ready, now, for them to come play. He likes to give them lots of love.

And kisses.

And we all read stories for the new babies.

Max and Me must have been real good helpers, because we got big treats.

And a new bed! What a great weekend, even if it was full of chores!

Adventure Poodles

Max and Me don't know if you remember our pal Gracie, but she invited us out to her place on Anderson Island this weekend.

You have to take a ferry to get there, and David wasn't so sure about the big boat.

But when we got to Gracie's house, David couldn't wait to get down to the water.

But Gracie had other plans.

David tried giving her big loves.

But then he decided to help with chores.

He did a real nice job.

And then we got to go play!!!

Max and Me haven't been on such a good adventure in a loooong time.

Just look at those stairs we had to climb up and down - that was an adventure in itself!

David had a great time in the water.

But then we noticed something in one of the trees.

Can you see it, at the top of this picture?

That eagle was flying way to close for comfort, so Max and Me decided it would be best to stick close to Kristin.

David wasn't scared, though, and kept throwing rocks.

We when got dried off, cleaned up and were waiting for lunch, David had a nice time with a different kind of rock.

And then we were back to the ferry. It was a great adventure and Max and Me can confess that David wasn't the only one asleep in the car.

Thanks Gracie, for a wonderful day!!!

Cheeseburgers!!!

After a whole lot of begging, Max and Me and David finally got cheeseburgers.

David really enjoyed it!

But maybe not as much as Max and Me did.

YUM!!!!!!!!

But when we were all done, only David got a new toy. Max and Me decided not to complain. Too much.

Still Recovering

Well. Evie came to see us this weekend. Normally, that would be a great thing. But. Evie is in what Michele and Kristin called "full blown tantrum mode." Max and Me aren't sure what that means, all we know is there was a lot of crying, screaming, yelling and thrashing about. Still, our friend Patty came down with her grandaughter Jazzo, and they all went to the zoo. Except Evie, she had to stay home and cry. Everybody else got to see the new tiger cubs! Max and Me think they are super cute, even if they are cats.

Jazzo is almost 11, so she got to do the awesome camel rides.

When they got back home, we had some story time. That was nice. The rest of the weekend, not so much. Max and Me are hoping for better luck next time.
