Merry Merry

Max and Me are finally getting around to posting Christmas pictures. Well, not really.  These are all pre-Christmas.  But we are getting closer!  Before the big day, the kids went to a friend's house to bake Christmas cookies.  Theo loved the sprinkles.

And we mean really loved them!

On Saturday before Christmas, they all went to Spanaway to see the Fantasy Lights display, which was, they say, really cool.  On the way home, they picked up dinner.  Turns out, Theo also loves Pho.  Who knew?

The next day the kids got to go to Krispy Kreme.  Max and Me are trying to stay in the Christmas spirit and not complain about how we didn't get to go, but sheesh.

After donuts, they played on the toys at the mall.  David got to go to Build A Bear and he made a really cool camoflage bear he named Army Beary.

That evening, they all went to a party at our pal Neiko's house.  Theo jammed on his drum set.  Later that night, Theo got really sick and kept Max and Me up for much of the night.

The next morning was Christmas Eve, and Kristin told David it was a special day and he and Army Beary could watch a movie in bed.  Max and Me are pretty she just said that so that she and Michele could sleep a little longer.  They were worn out by Theo's sickness.

Still, everybody rallied for a trip to Seattle later that morning.  They rode the monorail to the Seattle Center so that David could drive the model train.

He did a real nice job driving, and Ruby & Theo loved watching the trains go round and round.

David also wanted to see where the Nutcracker is performed, since he is reading a book about it.  He loved seeing the big tree.

And meeting the mouse king!

They had to hurry back home for Theo's doctor appointment, but David had time for a swordfight with a police officer!

At home, he liked sampling the meringue on top of the Baked Alaska pie.  Once again, Max and Me didn't get any!

That evening, they opened presents.  Ruby loved the coloring book she got and demanded to sit up at the table to color right away.

She also loved all her new babies and had a nice time feeding and hugging them.

Happy Birthday!!!!!

Oh my goodness, Max and Me can't believe they are 2!!!!

Last Day of Fun in the Sun!

All they really had time for before the flight home was one pic with Aunt Jackie and Uncle Jack.  Everybody sure had a lot of fun at their house!  Max and Me heard David say he is ready to go back.  Michele said she needed some time to recover!  Max and Me think Aunt Jackie and Uncle Jack might need some time too!

Arizona, Day 5

The Aunts and Uncles took everyone to the Phoenix Zoo.  At least, they told Max and Me it was the zoo.  There were no pictures of zoo animals, though, so who knows?    Max and Me do like this one, which was taken right after the lady told everyone David had to ride alone.

David said it was fun, but you can't tell it from this picture!

Now Michele looks like she is enjoying it!

And Kristin looks like she...well...Max and Me aren't sure what she is doing, but she sure has nice posture!

Uncle Jack got in on the action - he seemed to love it!

Aunt Jackie was taking pictures, so she couldn't ride.  Uncle Jake and Aunt Jill claimed they couldn't go because someone had to stay with the babies.  Max and Me find that suspicious!

After the Polar Slide, they found the Family Farm and David and Ruby had fun brushing the goats.

After the farm, they had a ride on the carousel.  David picked a shark!

Theo picked a zebra.  Ruby didn't care for any of the options and rode on a bench with Michele.  Max and Me don't know about that kid.

When they got back home, Uncle Jack set up a pitching machine for David.  Apparently he learned how dangerous pitching to David can be.  Max and Me understand it took quite a few tries, but eventually David belted a home run into the street!

That night, Theo and Ruby played with the pirate ship David used in the pool on his last visit.  They didn't mind that it wasn't in water.

Theo loved getting pulled around the living room.

And so did Ruby.  At least Max and Me think this is Ruby!  What a shot.

Kristin wanted a ride too.  Oh, brother!

Arizona, Day 4

Day 4 started with breakfast at Max and Me's favorite place.  And then they took a picture with both sets of grandparents.  Max and Me think you know what is missing from this picture!

Later they went to a McDonald's party and David turned into a pirate.  Argh!

Grandma and Grandpa seemed to think he made a good one!

All the kids got something from the balloon lady.  David chose a Spiderman hat!

And they got to meet Ronald.  David said he did a real cool magic show.  David also said Santa showed up later and had a bag for each kid that was filled with cool gifts.  What an awesome party!

Later that day, they went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and made crazy with a basket of oranges.

But it looks like everyone had fun.

Even Ruby.

Later, Grandma turned on some music and they danced.

Theo was, it seems, not so enthusiastic.

But he did love his snuggles that night with Aunt Jackie!

Arizona, Day 3

On the third day of the trip, they had a big party at Aunt Jackie's house.  David got to see his cousin CJ, and play some pool with him.

And then he got his Grampy Gary to play.

And somehow he roped Kami's mom, Shirley, into a game of it.

And then Theo wanted in on the action with Uncle Jake.

After all that pool, it was time to open presents from Kami.

Theo wouldn't show his present, but he did give his "cheese" face.

David got cool Batman action figures, and Ruby got a doll.

She knew just what the dolly needed.

Theo got busy playing with his train.

And then David and Grandpa played a little music for everyone.  Looks like a nice party.  Too bad Max and Me weren't invited!
