Christmas!

David was real excited to see his stocking! He got lots of fun stuff in it.
Max and Me each got a toy in our stocking.

Max really liked his elephant, but had to work hard to keep David away from it.

Theo and Ruby got rattles in their stockings...rattles with balls on them. Max and Me are pretty sure David helped Santa with those!

After stockings, David got to open his big pile of presents!

And then he played a little music for us all on his new flute. What a great Christmas.

Max and Me (& David) Are Big Helpers

Max and Me are sorry we haven't blogged in a few days, but it has been real busy. And Max and Me try to be good helpers. Like helping Kristin hold the babies.
Or making sure Michele gave Ruby a good bath.

And helping Grammy Janet snuggle Theo after his first bath.

Max and Me even help Michele feed the babies.

Max and Me got to admit though, David might be better at that.

Merry Christmas Everyone! Max and Me will have more Christmas - and other - photos soon!

Max and Me Still Waiting

Max and Me haven't got to meet the new kids yet, because Theo is sick with jaundice and has to be in this bright light - blanket contraption.
Looks kind of cozy to Max and Me.

Max and Me Already in Love

Just look at this beautiful girl...how could you not fall right in love with her?
Same thing for this big beautiful boy.

Max and Me think Michele and Kristin are pretty proud of these two.

Can you blame them? Max and Me can't wait to meet our new babies!

No Fair!

Grammy Janet took David to the hospital last night and he got to hold Ruby! Max and Me think this is one of the worst instances of poodle discrimination we can remember. But, David sure liked meeting his little sister and gave her a big hug.

Then he performed some sort of exam, checking out her nose.

And her tummy.

And finally her feet.

Max and Me think he is going to be a pretty good big brother.

Welcome Theo and Ruby!!!!!

At 2 a.m. this morning, Theo and Ruby were born via C Section.

Recognize our friend Bill? He performed the surgery! Max and Me knew Kristin was in good hands!

Theodore John came first, at 2 exactly.

Ruby Jean followed just four minutes later.

Max and Me think they are two of the most beautiful things we've ever seen. We can't wait to meet them! We heard they were coming home Sunday or Monday.

It's A Big Day...

Max and Me are at home, taking good care of Grammy Janet.

And she is taking good care of Davy Crockett.

Because last night, after Max and Me took good care of Kristin, she and Michele went to the hospital to have the new babies.

Grammy Janet just got back from a visit, and says that Dr. Hitchcock is taking good care of Kristin there! C'mon babies!!!

Big Adventure

Today, our aunts Nancy and Loretta came and got David and Grandma Janet and took them on a big adventure. They rode a carousel.

And they saw Santa. Apparently David had a few more things to talk to the big guy about.

Like how much he wanted a candy cane!

And then Grandma Janet joined him.

Max and Me think David thought the pastry case was even better than Santa. Who can blame him?

Thanks for the big adventure aunts Nancy and Loretta. Max and Me had a nice time napping with Kristin and Michele.

Big Weekend

First, although it wasn't on the weekend, David got to bust into his Advent Calendar. And he got candy! It looked, to Max and Me, a lot like his Halloween candy, but David didn't seem to mind.
Then, on Friday, Michele went and picked up Evie! There was time for a quick walk with Max and Me before they went to spring David from school.
And after dinner, plenty of time for stories.
And then our friend Patty showed up, and it was party time.

Everyone got in on the action.

But then David had to go night-night, and Evie read stories to Patty.

Max and Me also want to show you some of the awesome stuff that has come in the mail for the twins. Grandma Janet (who is arriving later today!) made beautiful quilts for both new kids.

That's right, they are not even born yet and they already have a quilt. Max is a bit irked, but he still thinks they are cool.

Our friend Sheila also made blankets for each of them.

Aren't they awesome?

Thanks Everybody! Max and Me will let you know just as soon as we can when the new babies get here!
