Happy Kids

The other night, the kids played in David's room before bedtime.  David was having fun shooting hoops.

Theo was loving climbing in David's bed.

And Ruby, well, Max and Me aren't sure what she is doing, but if you look closely, you can see she is smiling.

Yep, we can't explain these kids, but they sure are cute.

Tulips!

Yesterday, everyone but Max and Me met up with some friends and went to see the tulips.  And, apparently, alpacas.

Theo thought it was pretty cool.

Even if they don't smell much.

David liked the red tulips.

But he said his favorite part was the windmill.  And his buddies.

What a fun morning!

16 Months!!

On Tuesday, Ruby & Theo turned 16 months old!  Michele and Kristin didn't remember to take pictures until after dinner so the kids were a little tired.

But David, who had stayed home from school sick and was already in his robe, wanted in on the action.

You know Ruby, she thinks David makes everything better.

Easter Bunny and Oh No!

It wasn't Max and Me, this time, but someone in our house had some stomach problems and ended up in emergency surgery on Friday. Michele says not to worry, she didn't need her appendix anyway, but Max and Me are working hard to take real good care of her. Like this, on our cool new sofa.
She likes to lay on the daybed in David's room, too, which is great because Max and Me can take care of her and guard the house!
Before Michele got sick, she was home one day while Theo was recovering from another ear infection. She let us all go outside and play. Max and Me like playing with Theo, because, unlike the other kids, he cleans up after himself.
Yep, even the big wagon, he tried to put away in toy pot!
Max and Me also missed telling you about Easter. The kids got real nice "baskets" - or bags full of toys and candy. Max and Me didn't get anything. Michele said the easter bunny was dealing with a lot and we should let it go.
Ruby was a little sleepy but David got a cool game of little balls that pop up and you catch them in a basket. He loved it.
Seems like Theo wanted a try.
If you look close, you can see that David almost caught one!
