What A Weekend!

Max and Me apologize for our delinquent blogging. To make up for our lack of posts this week, here is a really long one about this weekend. Michele and Kristin took the boys up to Bellingham, leaving Max and Me to guard the house with Annika. On Friday night, before they left, Michele made the boys play on their toy to get them tired out.

Max and Me aren't sure what Kristin is doing with them on Saturday morning, but it looks like Marley likes it.

What the boys really wanted, though, was to get down to the pool.

When our cousin Spencer Jack got there, they all got in. That's Spencer in the background, doing a big jump.

David said he wanted to be just like Spencer, but, well, Max and Me don't think so. Yet.

Our Aunts Nancy and Loretta helped get the boys warmed up after their swim.

Max and Me are bit jealous.

And then, after swimming, they all went to visit our great Uncle Mel and Aunt Judy.
David and Marley got to ride on Uncle Mel's walker.

But then, maybe as some sort of payment, they had to give him a foot massage.

Looks like Uncle Mel liked that!

After all that fun, they met up with our friends Tiffany, Anita and Irene for burgers. Now Max and Me are really jealous!

Except, instead of eating a cheeseburger, David concentrated on Irene's purse.

After that long day, the boys slept in. When David finally got up, he got a new toy to bang on, er, play with.

Yep, he knows what to do!

Marley was wrestling with the giant pillow roll. Some things, Max and Me just can't explain.

But swimming with all our friends, that we understand.

The boys were really getting into it!

But we still didn't see any jumping off the side.

Finally, after all that fun, they headed back home to Max and Me. David was worn out.

Marley looks pretty tired himself.

What a great weekend of fun!!!!

Busy Weekend!

Saturday started off with the boys going to a concert. Before the show, they got to play in the "instrument petting zoo."
Later that day, they went out for dinner. David liked the crayons.

Marley preferred the crayon cups.

Today was a special day - the zoo! First, the carousel.

Then strollers. Why the zoo on a rainy day, you ask?

That's right - Evie came over today! And, of course, she had to see the walrus.

Turns out, David really likes the walruses too!

And Marley, well he totally digs them.

Except when they get too close. Marley wasn't too sure about that!

Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt

The boys have discovered that the big hole in the side of their climbing toy is perfect for putting things through. Like the little basketball.

Or the big, but squishy, soccer ball.

And yes, you guessed it, Marley himself.

Tonight, after lots of play on the toy, the boys got a huge treat - chips!

Max and Me must have been very good lately, because we got in on them too!

Trial and Error

Yesterday, while David was napping, Marley took the opportunity to build a tower without interference.

But, uh, Max and Me saw some problems with his plan.

No worries, he fixed it!

But then tried it again. You gotta give him credit for perseverance.

And then - ta da!

Good work little engineer!

Rude, Rude, Rude

So. Max and Me had to go get haircuts today. To add insult to injury, we found out when we got home that our Aunts Nancy and Loretta AND our Uncle Jake and Aunt Jill had come over. And brought pizza. The nerve. David seemed to like seeing everyone. He showed his baby to Aunt Jill.

And he showed her some of his new favorite books!

He even played his drum with Aunt Nancy. What about Marley you ask? Good question. Michele and Kristin claim he took a really long nap.

Max and Me were worried they sent him off for a haircut too. But it looks like he was there, and he did get Aunt Loretta to take him upstairs to ride the horse.

And then they all said bye bye...before Max and Me even got home. How rude!

Pictures As Promised

But, if you ask Max and Me, it doesn't look all that bad.
No, not bad at all! Max and Me even heard they brought David a cheeseburger for lunch today! Can Max and Me go to this hospital???

He Got Sprung!

David just got home, pictures soon. Thanks everybody for the well wishes!

A Picture Is Worth...

Max and Me think this picture says it all.

David is stuck in that hospital contraption until his oxygen levels increase. Think good thoughts for him, everyone. Max and Me don't like it when half our household isn't home.

Like You Couldn't See This Coming

Well. Max and Me could've predicted this. Marley has decided that if one popper is good, two must be better.
Stay tuned. Anyone want to place bets on what happens next?
