Egg Hunt

Our Third Annual Egg Hunt was a big success.  Max and Me "hid" sooooo many eggs while the kids napped.

And then they gathered.

The little kids got to go first.

But the bigger kids were out there in no time.

David seemed pretty happy with the first egg he found.

It took a bit, but Ruby got into it too.

Theo found his share of them!

And there was good stuff inside.  Max and Me know this because we tried to sneak a few bites earlier, but Michele caught us!

Even if Max and Me can't have chocolate, it was still a good day!

Blue Is Back!

But, um, Max and Me don't have any pictures of Blue's owies to show you.  But they are way better, and Kristin has even taken us out for a couple walks.  Just not past the mean dog's house! We do have some pictures of the kids - and their rockets!

Max and Me think David makes a fine astronaut.

Meanwhile, Theo keeps an eye on the bird feeder.  Even while trying to peel an orange. He really likes seeing those little birds out there.

Max and Me think David, however, doesn't want to just watch!

Bad News For Blue

Max here - sorry there hasn't been any blogging lately - but Blue is out of commission and there is too much to do around here for just one Poodle.  Out on a walk with Kristin last week, we got attacked by an off-leash German Shepard.  Blue took the worst of it, as you can see here.  The vet says his wounds are healing well, but it will be awhile before he is back to normal.

Meanwhile, Ruby eats dirt with a shovel.

All 3 of them eat jelly with a spoon.

They came home from school with these stars on their tummies, and haven't been able to get them off.

David said something about Sneetches and Dr. Suess week, but who knows?

Maybe it was Dr. Suess that got David sick - two whole days of fever and barfing.

Theo has been feeling better, thanks to lots of antibiotics.  (Don't forget good thoughts for him tomorrow morning when he has his ear tube surgery!)  And he found these old clogs in David's closet, and insists on wearing them everywhere.  Even to school.

He's really getting into his Dutch side, don't you think?
