Most Unfair Ever

So today, David got to wear Marley's old sweatsuit. David knew he was styling. But that is not the unfair thing.

At dinner tonight, David got his very own slice of pizza.

It was so big, he was generous and shared it. But not with Max and Me.

Max and Me were hoping it would fall out of his mouth.

But no luck. Still, the pizza isn't the most unfair thing.

No. Michele just told us the most unfair thing ever. Max and Me wondered why she was being so nice to us and letting us help her stretch her back. Well, because tomorrow, Michele and Kristin and David are flying to Arizona. To see our Grandma and Grandpa. And our Aunt Jackie and Uncle Jack. And our Uncle Jake and Aunt Jill. And our cousins CJ and JR. And our friend Kami and her parents.

That is really unfair. But then, Max and Me don't have our birth certificates handy. Arizona might be scary for poodles like us.

What A Day!

First, Evie came to play today!!

But Max and Me knew we were expecting more company, so we were on the lookout.

Yep, our aunts Nancy and Loretta came over. Aunt Nancy let David help her cook a wonderful meal.

At least, Max and Me heard it was wonderful. No matter how hard we tried, we didn't get a single bite.

After they all pigged out, Loretta helped Evie and David work off their meal.

Or something like that.

Maybe Evie ran off with Loretta's dessert. Max and Me aren't really sure.

Later, Aunt Nancy taught David how to hit a baseball. Looks like a pop up, but not bad for his first fungo.

All in all, a very good afternoon.

Lucky Boy!

David got an awesome quilt in the mail from Grandma Janet. Those of you that know how much David likes balls will understand how much he loves this quilt.

He spent a lot of time showing Max and Me all the different balls. Basketball...
...tennis...

...soccer...

...and his other very favorite thing - stars!

Showing off his great quilt must have tired him out.

But he perked right back up when he saw the other side!

Unfair. All Over Again.

Last night, Michele and Kristin took David up to Southcenter for dinner with their friend Kami. And Kami's mom. Max and Me would've loved to have seen them. But no, just David went. To add insult to injury, when they got home, all Michele and Kristin talked about was what a good boy David was at dinner. Hmpf! is what Max and Me say to that.

Today was a beautiful sunny day and we all got to play in the yard. David got to try out the picnic table for his snack. Max and Me think he was feeling guilty and so he offered to share.

Later, Michele brought out the water table.

Max and Me got a little bit of deja vu from that.

Some Sunny Days

We had a couple nice sunny days this week. One night at dinner, David suggested that Michele take Max and Me for a walk. You do it, Michele said. David thought that was funny. Max and Me were a little scared.

Turns out, with Kristin's help, David is a real good dog walker.

Max and Me took him all around the block to show him our favorite flowers.

Max and Me think he liked it.

Unfair And More Unfair

So. Today, Kristin took David to see Michele at work. Don't tell Michele we said this, but boy does her office look messy. Yikes.

What really made Max and Me mad though, was that David got to go out to lunch with Michele's work friends. That is really unfair. Max and Me think they had cheeseburgers.

Fun In The Big City

Yesterday, for no particular reason that Max and Me can discern, Michele and Kristin took David to play in Seattle. First, they wandered around South Lake Union. David said this bridge was over a big road with lots of cars. But he wasn't scared.

He just wanted down so he could run around more!

Then they headed to UVillage. Max and Me know what happens there! After the shopping and eating lunch with our friends Jennie and Elise, David got a cupcake. Looks like he wasn't quite sure about it at first.

Aaah, but he dug right in!

As David was busy with his cupcake, Michele snapped a nice picture. But why isn't David looking at her?

He had spied this cool fountain! He was so mesmerized, he didn't mind that he was getting splashed.

He loved it!

Amazingly, he never got any closer.

After that fun, they headed to our friend Jojo's house. There, he got a ball and a cookie. What more could a kid want?

Yep, for Jojo to feed him! That is one lucky kid, if you ask Max and Me.

He Works Hard For His Money

When David got home from school today, Kristin made him help with some clean up.

But when he finished is chores, we all got to go outside and play some ball!

Then David wanted to get in a big pot. Max and Me don't get it, but we try not to judge.

Finally, Michele said dinner was ready. Max and Me were pretty jealous of David's corndog.

Finally, after all his hard work (and play), David used Michele's new back massager. He said it really relaxed his tight muscles.

Max and Me sure hope this sun holds out this weekend!

Easter Egg Hunt!!!

Yea. Max and Me know it is long past Easter. But we have been busy watching basketball. Poor Butler. Poor Stanford. But that's another story. On Easter, Michele and Kristin took David to our Aunt Nancy and Loretta's house for an egg hunt with lots of friends. Max and Me stayed home. Again.

At first, David wasn't so sure about the egg thing, but he got lots of help. Not from Michele or Kristin, no, they were off hunting their own eggs.

Or something.

David did get the hang of it.

Max and Me aren't sure if our cousin Tilly is chasing David, or helping him find eggs.

Either way, that kid sure got a lot of eggs.

What he really liked was when Aunt Nancy showed him the fish. But she didn't give him a pole.

After the hunt, they gathered all the eggs in a big laundry basket. And then Aunt Loretta put David in too.

Max and Me will say it again...some things, we just can't explain!
