On the way home from Costco, Michele drove by a school. The kids saw the toys and hollered to stop. But the toys were all wet. So they just splashed in puddles on the playground and got soaking wet. Some things Max and Me will never understand.

Like Mama, Like Daughter
Not that Max and Me are complaining, but we finally figured out where Ruby gets her love of cuddling cute little things while she sleeps.

A Walk In The Park
On Friday, Michele and Kristin took the kids to Wright Park to run around. Max and Me had to stay home, but that was okay, because Michele had been home with us all day. They went to the conservatory, which was all decked out for Halloween. David said there was a very scary spider and giant talking skull.
At first, Ruby thought the skull was pretty funny.
Until Michele told her to keep walking.

Zoo Fun
Yesterday, Michele and Kristin and the kids met our friend Samantha, and her mom and dad, at the zoo. Sam and her dad helped David feed a budgie.
But the kids thought that the chains keeping the birds inside were more fun to play with.
They got to watch the elephants eat breakfast.
Both boys thought that was pretty cool. Ruby didn't care for those big things.
And they got to see the baby tigers! And the stuffed baby tigers, which are lighter in color than the real thing.
They even got to see the baby tigers eat breakfast! Max and Me would think that would be the highlight of any trip to the zoo.
But if you ask David, he'll tell you the best part of the zoo was Samantha!

Mustard?
Max and Me get tired of playing catch-up, but here we are again. Last weekend, everybody got to go to the dog park! Max and Me were so happy. But David was too tired and barely made it once around. Sheesh.
He felt better later and read some nice stories to Max and Me.
One day this week the boys dressed like twins. David loves those days.
And today, it rained. Finally. So off they went to the mall. Ruby was so adventurous on the toys that even David was surprised!
And later, after eating a bunch of their favorite pizza, David gave Ruby and Theo a ride on a motorcycle. Watch out everyone!

Yee-Haw!
David got to ride a horse at school the other day.
Max and Me got to admit, he's a handsome cowboy.
Theo looks good too, but he needed a little help.
And even with help, he wasn't so sure. Ruby wouldn't even sit on the thing. Don't tell Kristin, you know she's trying to make Ruby a horse-lover.
Max and Me think David might be the one Kristin should focus on.
