Ruby Is On The Mend

Ruby is feeling so good, she wanted to have a bubble bath.

Max and Me were jealous - we love a good soak in the tub.

She also got to play with the exersaucer for the first time.

Meanwhile, David got to help Kristin cook.

When David went to sit at the table, Max tried to help too. Kristin wasn't so happy with his efforts.

This morning, Michele asked Max and Me to babysit. We didn't want to chase them all around, so...

Well, It's Official

This afternoon, everybody got dressed up and went to court so Michele could adopt the twins.

Here they are, swearing to tell the truth.

Our friend Jennie was Michele's lawyer. She did a real nice job.

And Michele works with the judge, so it was an extra special day.

But then David decided he was twins with Theo. Hmmm...

Max and Me Miss Marley

Bet you can see why...

Bye Bye Aunt Jackie

Aunt Jackie is flying home to Arizona tomorrow, and we all said goodbye to her tonight. Max and Me are pretty sure we know who is going to miss her most.

Egg Hunt

This afternoon, Max and Me helped Michele "hide" eggs all over the backyard. Max and Me have never seen David so excited as when he got up from his nap and looked out the window. But he had to wait until his friends arrived.

Bergen got here first, and Max and Me thought they were plotting their strategy.

Then Neeko arrived, and it was a go.
Turns out, there was no strategy. Those boys didn't know what they were doing!

Theo and Ruby might have picked up more eggs, if they got to try!

David wanted to play with each egg he found.

But after a while, he got the hang of it.

And after all the eggs were found, everybody got to play!

What a wonderful afternoon!

Boredom

Believe it or not, Michele and Kristin had some time on their hands the other day. And they put it to real productive use. Max and Me can now introduce you to our homeboy, Theo.

And Sheik Theo.

John McEnTheo.

And Punjabi Theo.

And, finally, Theo from the Old Country. Max and Me thought this was all really funny.

Maybe we shouldn't have laughed so loud.

Or for so long.

Max and Me never learn.

Evie!

Evie came for a visit today! What a great weekend we had!

Time Flies

Kristin and Michele said they wanted a picture of all the kids laying on the floor. Max and Me did our best to get them all looking at the camera.

But then Michele said it might be better without us in it. How rude.

Yesterday, our Aunt Jackie came for a visit! And then our cousins Jeff and Pam came from Bellingham to see us. We all got to walk to the park. Ruby got to stop and smell the cherry blossoms.
Theo wasn't so interested.

David got a ride from Jeff.

And then both he and Ruby got to fly a bit! What a fun afternoon.

Max and Me Left At Home

Today was the junior daffodil parade. Everybody got to go, and march with David's school. Everybody except Max and Me, that is.

David did a nice job handing out flowers.
And waving to the crowd.

Theo and Ruby had to get all bundled up before they could go.

And then they didn't even get to look out of their stroller! They should have just stayed home with Max and Me!

Max and Me Been Having Fun!

There have been many great adventures at our house this week. First, Neeko came for a visit. He and David ate a bit, then we all got to play in the backyard.

While they were playing, Max and Me taught Theo to sit. We think he is pretty good at it, but Michele didn't give him any treats.

The good weather continued, and we all got to play sidewalk chalk with Patricia. She drew a real nice zebra, but Max and Me forgot to take a picture. On Friday night, David's other brother Isaiah and his brother Corie came over for pizza. Corie fed a baby for the first time. Max and Me think he did a nice job.
But Max, and Ruby, were partial to Isaiah.

On Saturday, David got a great big adventure and went to the zoo with "two mommies and NO babies!" He got a picture of a tiger on his ticket and was excited to show the tigers.

They weren't so impressed.

That didn't stop him from showing it to the daddy tiger!

David also got to ride the carousel! What a great day at the zoo. And don't worry, Max and Me got help taking care of the twins from Annika and Patty.

Good thing, too, because that afternoon Kristin and Michele left us all at home to go on their own adventure! They came home with, among other things, sun hats for the kids! Ruby looked good!

And Theo too!

What a great weekend!!!!!
