Max In Love

It's official. Max and Ruby are in love.

She seems very happy about it.

And Max sure doesn't mind!

Meanwhile, Theo is loving a cold washcloth - yep, he's getting his first teeth!

Summer Has Arrived!

We've been doing our best to live outside!

Ruby loves it outside, but Theo thinks the lights are way too bright.

And the heat apparently makes him really thirsty.

Yesterday, Max and Me and David helped Michele finally finish her big front yard make-over. The sitting area looks great.

And the fountain is awesome!

David designed the bridge part.

And Max keeps watch over it all.

After all that work, David got a special treat. Yep, pink toes. You cannot believe how excited he was over such a silly thing.

Meanwhile, Max and Me got real treats.

What a great start to summer!!

Evie! Evie! Evie!

Evie came for a visit today! Kristin put her to work rocking the babies. Max and Me were happy for the break.

Patty brought a feast and they all got to pig out. Max and Me were left out. Again.
Then they took a walk to the park. Max and Me stayed home. Which we really didn't mind, because we are still a wee bit tired from our awesome trip to the dog park on Friday. (Sorry, we forgot our camera.)

Evie loved the tunnel slide at the park.

And David, well, he loves Evie. What a fun day!

Happy (Half) Birthday!

On Friday, Ruby and Theo turned six months old! Wow! And tomorrow, Max and Me are having a visit from Evie. What a great weekend!

Catch-Up

Last weekend, David's buddy Aneeko came for a visit. After they played, Michele baked them some chocolate chip cookies. Max and Me didn't get any.

And later that same day, Kristin chased down the ice cream truck (bike, actually) and David got a giant ice cream sandwich. Max and Me didn't get one.

The next day, our friends Jennie...

and Elise came for a visit. They brought super cute tee shirts from Hawaii for the kids. And nothing for Max and Me.

All of the company must have worn out Theo. He fell asleep, right in the middle of his favorite part of the day! And finally, Max and Me got a treat - some of his leftovers. We could get used to a kid falling asleep with food around!!!

Whew!

Max and Me are sorry we haven't blogged lately, but Michele and Kristin were busy and made us do a lot of chores. Those babies are cute and all, but getting them dressed takes a couple of poodles a long time.

Such Waste

Ruby and Theo got sweet potatos and pears tonight. Max and Me wonder if any of it actually went in their mouths? We do, however, appreciate Ruby's laid-back approach.

It seems like Theo wants to try Ruby's style, but can't quite make it happen.

Max and Me volunteered to do clean-up, but no luck tonight. Yep, Kristin was feeding them.

Worth the Wait

It only took a bit over 5 months, but Michele finally put up the quilts Grammy Janet made for Theo & Ruby.

Max and Me think they look real nice.

David, meanwhile, has been doing some serious thinking. About what, nobody knows. But Max and Me know enough to be worried.

Max and Me and Theo Get Lucky

Michele and Kristin went out to an early dinner tonight. When they got home, they were in good moods. So good, that Theo and Ruby got to try a new food - sweet potatoes! Ruby thought they were okay, but Theo loved them and ate almost the whole jar.

And then Max and Me to got finish it off!

And finally, Kristin took Max and Me and Theo out for a walk. What a great day!

Happy 5 Months!

Ruby and Theo turned 5 months old today! At picture time, David's job was making them smile. He did a real nice job.

But Max and Me are getting worried that chair isn't going to be big enough much longer.

But for now, it seems just right.

And boy, does Ruby love her big brother!

Another Fun Weekend

On Saturday, everybody went to Titlow park for a birthday party for our friend Joy. They played on toys, walked around a lake, went down to the water, played ball and ate lots of food. And they only picture Max and Me saw was this one, of David on some rock. Looks like he was having fun.

On Sunday, our great Aunt Judy came over to meet the twins. She and Theo wore matching sweaters for the occasion!

Our cousins Jeff and Pam were with her, and Ruby like hanging out with Jeff.

Max seemed to prefer Pam!
