Major Catch Up

Max and Me have no good explanation for our serious lapse in blogging. But, here is what we've been up to:

A week ago, on Friday, we had a pizza party and met Patricia's son, Ian. Max really like him.

Really.

Kelci and Aneeko came over too. David loves playing with his best friend.

They are getting really good at climbing.

That Saturday, we had a visit from Evie! She isn't sure what to make of the babies.

But she sure had fun with Jennie and Elise!

Theo has started pulling himself up everywhere he can. David thinks this means Theo is ready to play ball with him!

A couple days ago, Grammy Janet came for a visit. Ruby was very happy to see her!

And yesterday, Grammy and Kristin took David up to the Woodland Park Zoo. Michele asked for a picture of her favorite animal at that zoo, the hippo.

They went up there because they heard you can feed the giraffes. Max and Me didn't think Kristin should feed it David!!

Turns out, you are supposed to feed it leaves.

David seemed to enjoy the toys more. At least he knew they wouldn't eat him!

After the zoo, Michele busted out some new outdoor stuff that Kristin found to replace that awesome pool Grandma and Grandpa brought, which got shredded the other day, Max and Me think by a raccoon. Ruby seemed to like the new pool.

David got a new flotation device, which he also really liked.

But he had to check out the babies' new pools.

Everyone had fun, til Theo decided he'd had enough. Max and Me think he will glad when summer is over!

Of course, getting out early means you might miss out on special treats.

Now Ruby adores her big brother even more!

8 Months!

Ruby & Theo are 8 months old today! Theo doesn't seem so excited about.

After those pictures, Michele packed up all the kids and took them to visit her office. Ruby loved the people there!

Theo loved the toys!

And David loved walking around the Capitol Campus - especially the stairs up to the Legislative Building!

More Swimming

Today Michele and Kristin took the kids to a fancy pool. Ruby and David loved it. Theo would have preferred to be with Max and Me, at home.

But David told us he saw a sign for a Pooch Party at that pool on September 10. Max and Me think that could be fun!

Tonight, Michele finally put out the little pool Grandma and Grandpa brought for the babies. Max and Me were happy to test the water.

And boy, were those babies happy to swim!

They loved it!

David got a bigger pool all to himself.

Not that he needed it.

A Little Girl Needs A Dog

Max and Me read a very sweet story in this morning's Tacoma News Tribune. It is about a little girl with autism who could be helped with a service dog, if only her mom can raise the money to get one. Max and Me know these are hard times, but if anyone can help...

Arizona Catch-Up

Aunt Jackie sent some great pics of David's trip to Arizona. Like this one, of him checking out the waterfall.

Looks like he really liked his boat.

He also got good at jumping in.

But isn't Michele supposed to actually catch him??

Anyway, he didn't seem to mind!

Catching Up

As usual, Max and Me are behind in our blogging. Here are some cute pics of our visit from Grandma and Grandpa. Theo really like meeting his grandma.

Ruby was napping when they arrived, but woke up so Grandma could meet her only granddaughter!

David, of course, got Grandpa to read to him.

And before they left back to Arizona, they got in a really nice picture with all the kids.

But don't worry, Grandma still has her favorite!

Grandma and Grandpa showed up on Friday night! Max and Me were so excited to see them!! Michele was a little offended that Grandma got my belly to rub, but I was just too happy to see her!

But don't worry, Max got some love too!

David's Grand Adventure, Part 2

Max and Me got some great pics from Grammy Janet today. It sure looks like David had a great time exploring Denver. He got close up to a polar bear at the zoo!

And got to ride a giant hippo.

At the butterfly pavillion, he climbed in an old tree.


And then turned into a butterfly!

And, of course, he got to throw rocks. Max and Me know he liked that!

Blue's Big Owie and David's Grand Adventure

Max and Me are sorry we haven't blogged lately, but there has been another surgery. This time for a herniated disc in my back. As Michele keeps saying, no we don't make this stuff up. Max would've blogged for Me, but he was too busy helping Kristin with the babies. Why, you ask?

Because Michele took David on a grand adventure. Max and Me were real jealous. First, David got to spend two days playing in Denver with Grammy Janet. David said they went to the zoo, and a butterfly pavillion and saw lots of cool stuff, but all we got was a picture of them at dinner.

When they left Denver, they flew to Phoenix to visit our relatives on Michele's side. At first, knowing it is over 100 degrees there now, Max and Me weren't jealous. But then we saw the pictures. David really liked our cousin CJ.

Even if he did make David clean out the pool.

But when he finished, Aunt Jackie took him swimming!

But then she made him clean in the kitchen. Max and Me think she was just making him earn his keep.

Uncle Jake was there too, and taught David how to eat olives.

And our other cousin, JR, played bubbles with David and CJ. Max and Me were super jealous that he got to play with both our cousins.

He even got Grandma to scratch his back!

And Uncle Jack let him play pool. Max and Me would never believe it without pictures!

David said he had the best adventure ever!
