She and David got to make the coolest monster cupcakes.
And even though there were plenty, Max and Me got none.
And we had to stay home when they went to the park!
Sure looks like they had fun.
Theo loved the swings.
Michele said it was hard work, pushing all 4 of them!
And then they got to run in the leaves. Max and Me were pretty jealous.
Maybe tomorrow...
There has also been a lot of eating. Real food. Now this, Max and Me understand. Theo digs Cheerios. 
And Ruby thinks they are pretty yummy too.
Theo also tried feeding himself with a spoon. Max and Me could've done as well, and we don't, you know, have thumbs. 
And tonight, David showed off his new bathrobe from Aunt Jackie. Boy did he think he was a big kid in that!
And yes, that is a big owie on his upper lip. Something about his face meeting up with a curb. Max and Me will tell you one thing - it's never boring around here!
She was willing to let David get in on the action. 
He doesn't seem too worried about it, Max and Me have to admit.
But today he started eating Ruby's shoes.
Even Max and Me think that is a little gross.
Ruby is hungry too, and has to eat burp rags!
How happy do you think they could be? 
They were having so much fun, Max had to go check it out.
He said it reminded him of another bath night, from just over two years ago...
Except when Theo decides to roll around in frilly curtains, then he is on his own.
David also liked playing yesterday with our pal Jennie. He showed her how to draw on the cool easel she got him for his birthday.
And they played banjo. Or guitar, Max and Me are rarely sure.
David also shared a picture from school - he got to ride a horse!
Michele said we did it because David turned 3!
But everyone got their pictures taken.
Some were happier about it than others.
But Max and Me were the happiest. And don't we look handsome?
Meanwhile, Ruby is still happy to sit and play. 
Speaking of Ruby, Max and Me are pretty much in love with her. She likes to play with us and she doesn't beg for food.
But, when Max and Me got new toys for Halloween, she tried to steal them. Sheesh!
This morning, when the babies took their nap, David got to play in the big tub upstairs. Max and Me were a little jealous, but we had a nice time reading the Sunday papers with Michele.
Then they went outside and played some baseball. 
And soccer.
After dinner, they read stories.
David did not want to leave Uncle Jack to go to bed...
a cake... 
and presents!
But if you ask David what the best part was, he'll tell you it was all the people that came. Max and Me think he sure is lucky to have so many wonderful friends.
Grammy Janet helped David make muffins. They were tasty!
In addition to his outdoor banjo concerts, David has been giving indoor guitar concerts from his firetruck stage. They are well attended.
But, again, Grammy steers him toward quieter pursuits. 
On Friday, Grammy took David on a big adventure to the Nisqually Wildlife Preserve. Max and Me protested, knowing that they discriminate against poodles there, but to no avail.
David saw tiny frogs on leaves. Max and Me thought that frog looked yummy. Maybe it's a good thing they don't allow dogs...
After we all said goodbye to Grammy Janet, Patty and Denise came for a visit. They knew we'd be sad that Grammy left. Ruby thought Denise was pretty nice.
And the next day, our friend Risa came and brought David an early birthday cake. Max and Me were real jealous!
It was purple inside - David's favorite!
After he ate a huge piece, Risa made him rock her on the hammock. Seemed fair.
Today, Michele and Kristin took David to the beach. They threw lots of rocks, and then David found this big stick.
After the beach, they went shopping. And came home with this:
Max and Me have no comment. We just hope it works.
