Egg Hunt!!

The Easter Bunny came by at naptime today and "hid" a whole lot of eggs in our backyard. Max and Me really wanted to go out there, but Michele said this was a kids only event!
Ruby got to go in the first round, with the other 1 & 2 year olds.
So did Theo, but he was too busy eating his chip to really look for eggs.
Ruby got a box of raisins in one of her eggs, and she was very happy.
Kelci had to help David, and our friend Olivia, look for the last eggs.
Afterwards, everyone came inside to open their eggs. Max and Me counted, and Theo only found 3 eggs, but still, he - apparently - is the Egg Hunt Champion. Some things Max and Me don't understand.

Evie!

Evie came for a visit this weekend! She was very happy to see her best friend Max. They played tug-o-war.

And, while David watched a show, Evie read to Max.
Max really enjoyed the story.
But mostly, he enjoyed having Evie around.

15 Months Old! And Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Ruby & Theo are 15 months old today, so of course, they got their pictures taken in the tan chair. It started off real cute.

And they were having fun.
Maybe too much fun.
There was no music playing, so Max and Me aren't sure what they are doing here.
And then, Ruby went on the attack.
Poor Theo barely stood a chance.
She had him begging for mercy.
And wouldn't let him get away.
Kristin had to intervene.
Ah, sweet victory, the chair to herself.
But only for a minute. David thought he'd try his luck! That's fine, but no way are Max and Me getting up there!

What A Week!

First, the babies were sick. Ruby had breathing trouble and Theo had an ear infection. Then David got sick with an awful cold. Then Theo got pneumonia. Then his new medicine made him sick. And while Kristin and Michele were cleaning him up, Max and Me got into a bag of dirty diapers on the deck. Big mistake. The whole crew had to bring us to the emergency vet, where they made us throw up over and over again. It was awful. David thought going to that vet was sort of fun. Max and Me do not agree.
But, even with everyone sick, we've had some fun.

And tonight, Ruby and Theo got sandwiches made of graham crackers and Nutella. Max and Me were so jealous!
We offered to clean Theo up, but Michele said no.
Our loooong week ended with some movie watching. Max really likes cuddling up with David.
Here's hoping for a better week!

Sick, And Crazy

Everyone has been pretty sick around here. Which means they've all been cooped at home. Which means they've gone a little crazy. Ruby decided it would be fun to sit in a little box.

She did not think it was fun when David got in her box.
Theo thought the whole thing was strange.
And then Ruby decided to look just like Theo. Sometimes they really do look like twins.
And David, well, he's just plain crazy.

Cookies!

Yesterday, Michele came home with giant peanut butter and chocolate cookie sandwiches made by our friend Judy. At first, David wondered why he "only" got a half.

Apparently the babies are old enough for cookies now!
They seem very happy about that!

And just case you had any doubt...yes, Theo ate the whole thing!

We Miss Her Already

Aunt Jackie left last night. Max and Me miss her so much. But we went through all of our pictures from the last week and can show you everything we did. First, it was a trip to Chuck E. Cheese in honor of Aunt Jackie's birthday. Ruby and Theo didn't think it was fair that Max and Me couldn't go, so they protested by sitting in this red dog.

Meanwhile, David shot hoops. Lots of hoops.

Max and Me heard the food was pretty good. Oh how we wish we could be the clean-up crew there!

Theo did eat something, so don't worry.

The next day, they were all back in the car for a trip to Pike Place Market.

David got two cool spaceships from one of the vendors.

And Ruby got a new hat.

David brought along some coins to put in Rachel the pig.

Then, on Monday, instead of going to work and school, everybody went down to Olympia to see the governor sign the marriage equality bill. But first the kids played trains.

And David sang some songs.

At the Capitol, everybody got their picture taken with Senator Ed Murray. He has worked long and hard on this bill.

David really like the signs.

Can you find David in this picture?

That night, everyone was worn out and needed lots of stories.

And finally, last night, when Mark and Ginger came to pick up Aunt Jackie, David got more stories from Mark.

And then it was time for goodbye pictures.

It might look like the kids had all the fun, but Max and Me are really gonna miss her too.
