On Saturday Max & Me had the most fun we've had in a long long time. We got to go across that scary Tacoma Narrows Suspension Bridge again. That's that bridge we told you about before, that fell down a long time ago.
We crossed the scary bridge because Max & Me were taking Michele and Kristin to this place called Kopachuck State Park to go check out the place where we're going to go to kayak school.
Max led the way on our hike to the beach. He found an adventurous alternative route from the main trail.
When we got to the beach, Max & Me had a great time climbing all over the giant pieces of wood. Kristin forgot to take our camera with her, so we've got no pictures of our Saturday adventure. Max & Me are considering firing Kristin from her job as the chief photo documentarian of the Adventures of Max & Me.
When we were done playing on the beach Max led us back to the car via a different trail. It was real muddy, so Max & Me had a great time getting really dirty. Max & Me like getting really dirty. At one point Max went right into a muddy sinkhole and couldn't get out. Kristin had to lift him out by his butt. It was pretty funny and Max was totally covered in really smelly mud. It was great.
By the time we got back to the car Michele and Kristin said Max & Me were too dirty to get in the car. So, they forced Max & Me under a water faucet by the park's restrooms. It was very cold water. Max & Me were not happy. We don't know why Michele and Kristin make such a big deal over a little dirt.
And then we got home Michele gave Max & Me another bath! Two baths in one day. That's ridiculous. Max & Me had been sort of hoping that we'd end up at McDonald's for a cheeseburger yesterday. We drove by 3 McDonald's, but didn't stop at any of them. After our bath we did get a chicken treat, though. We like the chicken treats. But they are no cheeseburger.
